After the measurement of the land, one of the tasks was to get the boundaries of the land marked out.

In this area there is a particular stone for marking boundaries: it is called “Cheera”. They had to be ordered from the Stone smith & had to be inserted on the boundary of the land at every 15 to 20 ft, so that the boundaries are clear & who ever is next door, on all sides will also know about my boundaries.

Then the task was to use all the thorny shrubs on the land & in its vicinity,  we cut & placed them on the boundaries, along the Cheera.

Then the more important task will start after the rains & when the soil is moist i.e to erect a green fence. I intend to plant Sagarghota or Fever nut (Caesalpina bunduc) extensively.
